SKETCHING WITH PEN & WATERCOLOR By Mary Matlick

$60 plus $25 for materials ($5 with own materials)

Basic watercolor techniques with emphasis on keeping a watercolor journal.

PAINTING WORKSHOP For painters who would like to improve their skills in their preferred media: watercolor, acrylic or oil painting. By Maryann Thomas

Thursdays & Saturdays: July 21, 23, 28, 30; 10:30am-2:30pm

Basic to advanced painting techniques, tools, color mixing and composition.

$40/ for a 4 hour class. Each 4 hour workshop can be taken individually or as a series, with emphasis on individual attention designed to challenge painters of all levels. List of suggested supplies upon request.

INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY by John Wilson

July 20th,  6am-8:30pm  For anyone wanting to improve their photography at a beginner level. Need an adjustable camera.

6am-meet at Edison Hall, travel to a filming location, breakfast, then classroom critique, editing, discussion of camera and photo techniques. Lunch, 3-5pm

Afternoon fieldtrip, followed by classroom work.  $95

MOUNTAIN LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP by John Wilson

Aug. 11, 12, 13, 14,  5:30pm Orientation and field trip to Horseshoe Lake.

Friday & Saturday meet ½ hr. before dawn, travel to dawn location, breakfast, return to classroom for editing and image critique. Afternoon photo shoot.

Sunday 10:30am-2:30pm classroom to edit and critique student work.

$135.  Equipment needed: adjustable camera (DSLR) and tripod

LANDSCAPES IN WATERCOLOR by Teri Sweeney

August 11, 12, 13, 14  9am-4pm at Edison Hall.
