MAC Student Spotlight: Rowan, Student at Mammoth Elementary School

This month we are proud to feature Rowan, a second grader at Mammoth Elementary School for our Student Spotlight! Rowan enjoys Create with the Greats and eagerly asks our teaching artists about the next lesson. She is pictured here with her standing mobile inspired by the work of Alexander Calder. Here are Rowan's thoughts about the arts:

Why do you love the arts?

Cause it's fun!

What is a favorite piece of art you have created or a favorite time in performing arts?

That's a tough one because I've made a lot of art. Probably my drawings.

What would you say to a friend to get them interested in the arts?

It's fun if you try it.

Why are the arts so important?

Because it makes me feel really good when I make it!
