Although a graduate in studio art from UCDavis with an emphasis on printmaking, Debb waited until retirement to make art her ‘job’. Debb is still a fine art printmaker in both relief and etching; she took up painting when she moved to the Eastern Sierra. Debb enjoys doing quick veinettes in her sketchbooks, especially while traveling. She paints plein air in both watercolor and oils, and recently began using pastels.
“I continue to be challenged with every image I create, regardless of the medium I am using. In each attempt, I strive to bring the elements of composition, color, value and shapes together to bring the visual story to life.”
