Lee Vining Summer Arts Camps: Environmental Education with Rose/Visual Art with Daria, Ages 10-13
Have fun in the beautiful Mono Basin while learning about our local ecosystems and wildlife with Rose. Examine the relationship between nature and art with Daria and create a beautiful piece of art.
August 4-6, 2021
Spend the morning at the shore of Mono Lake along Sierra fed streams and through woody bird habitat to discover the beauty and wilderness of the Mono Basin. Games, activities and lessons will be inspired by different ecosystems and wildlife. Explore your creativity, learn more about your backyard, and make art with us. The focus for the first half of this camp will be on environmental education, while the second half will have a focus on art. Students will be outdoors for the duration of the camp. Please make sure to send your child with the following:
Sack lunch & snacks, plenty of water, sunscreen, sun hat, and bug spray.
