Mammoth Summer Arts Camps: Visual Arts with Daria

A visual arts and movement program for all those in search of developing their creative process. Explore your creativity, learn more about your backyard, and make art with us. We will experiment with unusual techniques to create paintings about local land. We will tell stories about magic events happening in Eastern Sierra with our artworks.
July 26-28, 2021

The program consists of a few fun and accessible sessions about finding inspiration from the world around you, and translating that inspiration into your own artistic point of view. You’ll come out of the class with a fresh sense of confidence and a stronger understanding of who you are as an artist.

The visual arts and movement course is for all those in search of developing their creative process with painting, photography, and performing arts. Explore your creativity, learn more about your land, and make art with us. 

We will experiment with unusual tools and techniques to create paintings about local land. We will explore sonography to capture the treasures of local lakes and forests. We will tell stories about magic events happening in the Eastern Sierra with our artworks. 

You will be able to:

- Organize, develop, and deliver your ideas with simple sketches 

- Confidently use rubbing technique and mark making  to create a variety of textures 

-  Compose texture landscapes 

-  Capture local  heritage with sonography

-  Frame up photography landscapes  

-  Paint watercolor landscape 

- Find inspiration from the art you love and the world around you

July 26-28: Ages 5-7 9-10am, Ages 8-11 12-2pm, Ages 12 & up 3-5pm

Friends of the Arts - $150

Friends of the Arts is our donor level for all patron and arts supporters. We need 250 Friends of the Arts for our after school programs, community outreach, and gallery maintenance.

Patrons - $500

Our Patrons donor level helps provide foundational funding for our student Scholarship program and our Summer Art Camp. We need 25 Patrons.

Dreammakers - $2,500 to $5,000

The Dreammakers donor level will help launch our Music Program and provide continued support for our new Digital Arts program. $50,000 annually.

Guardians
