Join us for a fun evening of art making in the beautiful lobby space at Outbound Mammoth! This month, we'll be hosting local artist Elysia Fischbach - who will show us the basic techniques of weaving so we can create hand-made ornaments before the holiday. Perfect as gifts or for your own decoration, everyone will leave with 4 hand-crafted pieces!

WOVEN ORNAMENTS
In this 3 hour workshop, students will learn the essentials of small round weaving by creating a handful of woven ornaments (just in time for the holidays!) on 4-inch embroidery hoops. I will guide you through basic small round weaving techniques using a variety of colorful and textured fibers to create your ornaments.
You will learn these basic small round weaving techniques:
~Warping your hoops
~Tabby Stitch
~Cleaning Up Fiber Ends and Finishing
Workshop materials provided:
~4-inch Embroidery Hoops
~Cotton warp string
~Embroidery Needle
~Many different colorful and textured fibers to choose from!
This Workshop is suitable for beginner and experienced weavers, ages 10 and up.
Since this workshop is 3 hours in length, please bring some snacks and beverages to keep you fueled and hydrated along with Readers if you use them!

Friends of the Arts - $150
Friends of the Arts is our donor level for all patron and arts supporters. We need 250 Friends of the Arts for our after school programs, community outreach, and gallery maintenance.
Patrons - $500
Our Patrons donor level helps provide foundational funding for our student Scholarship program and our Summer Art Camp. We need 25 Patrons.
Dreammakers - $2,500 to $5,000
The Dreammakers donor level will help launch our Music Program and provide continued support for our new Digital Arts program. $50,000 annually.
