We need your help to ensure everyone has access to the arts in Mono County. Our goal is to chart a new funding course to augment the grants we receive and the revenue from our annual events.

Become a Member

 

By giving financial support to the Mono Arts Council, Members make a measurable difference as partners in creative culture.

With support from our Members, we deliver high-level programming and events for everyone in Mono County, including the following groups and individuals: regional visual artists, performing and teaching artists; students K-12, visitors to Mono County, and every Mono County resident.

 

Designed to be both accessible and budget-friendly, this easy Membership option allows you to pay a small amount each month on an automatic recurring basis.

 

Monthly membership

These Memberships are available at the following support levels:
$5.00 | $10.00 | $20.00 | $30.00 | $40.00 |

Annual membership

Annual Memberships allow you to give more at once with an automatic renewal each year. These Memberships are available at the following support levels:

$50| $75 | $100 | $200 | $500 |

Besides enjoying all of Mono Arts Council’s year-round programs and cultural events, Members at every level receive exclusive benefits as a token of our appreciation:

  • Special reports from our Director on projects & programs

  • 25% off Mono Arts Council swag

  • One class per year ($150 donation per year and above)

Corporations, businesses, organizations, and individuals can help support Mono Arts Council programs like: the MAC Gallery & Community Arts Center or arts education initiatives with a yearly pledge of at least $1,000. 

Sponsorships start with our Dream Maker level from $1,000 - $4,999 annually

Sponsorships at our MAC Guardian level start at $5,000 annually

In exchange, sponsors are recognized on our donor tree, through our website and monthly e-newsletter, a yearly print ad, and will receive all the benefits of Arts Council Members as well as exclusive invitations to art receptions and other events. 

MAC Guardians will be given the exclusive opportunity to provide ongoing support of a specific program and may request naming rights to that program.

Plus, we’re open to your ideas about additional engagement and participation that would work best for you, your staff or business. Email to discuss other sponsorship ideas.

We accept donations of any amount. These gifts are welcomed and appreciated and can be applied to our organization in general or to specific programs of your choice.

Your Donations Support: 

Dance Appreciation

Students will learn the evolution of dance through the ages. Emphasis will be on learning movement. Each lesson will be tied in with the historical background of the dance origin.

With MAC, every school-aged child in Mono County has access to arts education curriculum and opportunities for all students. Without MAC, there is almost no K-12 arts education.

Create With The Greats

Provides visual arts education each month school is in session (previously it was only 5 times per year).

Scholarship Program

Provides graduating students from Mono County funds to attend arts schools.

Summer Camps

Week-long summer arts programs that partner with other local non-profits to create all-day outdoor art and nature immersive learning experience.

Arts
Act

A regular, sequential art program for students at the Mono County Community Schools. Community Schools are organizations especially designed for students with undiagnosed learning disabilities, low reading levels, and social-emotional issues.

Music Program

Provide music instruction twice a month to all K-8 schools in the Eastern Sierra Unified School District.

Arts Integration

Provides classroom teachers with Professional Development Training in Arts Integration including the Create Eastern Sierra Summer Arts Institute.

After-School
Art Clubs

Provides weekly after-school arts programs at every school site (K-12) in Mono County, throughout the school year.
