4:00 - 7:00 PM

MAC Community Arts Center & Gallery

Please join us here at MAC for a fun evening featuring a totally original event - the first ever of its kind!

Thanks to a generous wine donation, we asked five Mono County artists to paint the tasting notes for the various wines. By purchasing a ticket, you can enjoy these beautifully curated wines - and bid on a silent auction to take home the painting - and also the wine - that was used to create it!

We will have additional offerings from the vineyards as well, including tasting tour packages as well as various merchandise from these incredible wineries.

Featured Wines and Artists

Sextant
Wheelhouse Zinfandel

Paso Robles
2016 in magnum

Tasting Notes

Like a healthy bite into a fresh plum,
tasting the 2016 Wheelhouse
Zinfandel is sensational. A rush of
cranberries, blackberries, and
strawberries confront all sectors of
the palate. The smooth tannins and
limber acidity frame a contoured
body allowing notes of loamy earth,
hickory, and cinnamon to add layers of intricacy.

Acquiesce Winery
Lodi
Picpoul Blanc 2024

Tasting Notes

Like dawn at Mono Lake, this wine
shimmers with purity and light.
Bright citrus and sea-spray minerality mirror the lake’s crystalline stillness, while a touch of salinity evokes the ancient basin’s quiet beauty—vibrant, reflective and timeless.

J Winery
Healdsburg
J Cuvee 20 Brut, in magnum

Tasting Notes

Our J Cuvee 20 Brut opens with
nuanced aromas of toasted almond, followed by notes of Braeburn Apple, dried cranberry and ginger snap. A delicate dance of bubbles leads to a soft palate with flavors of lemon meringue pie as the wine’s creaminess is whisked away by a lively finish.

Navarro Vineyards

Pinot Noir, Methode a l’Ancienne

2023, Anderson Valley in magnum

Tasting Notes

The 2023 Methode a l’Ancienne is
concentrated with suave tannins;
cherry, raspberry and red apple
flavors with suggestions of rainforest floor and fresh foliage.

Rombauer Vineyards
Carneros Chardonnay
2024 in magnum

Tasting Notes

Aromas of yellow peach, guava and bright meyer lemon are found on the nose. These ripe fruit flavors
