Rosanne Catron

Starting at a young age, Rosanne Catron’s interest in art was cultivated through summer arts classes and especially through observing and working with her mother, Kay Wilson, who is also a watercolor artist. Rosanne is inspired by natural landscapes, animals, powerful people, love and grief, and the beauty of everyday moments. She cites Frida Kahlo, Guillermo del Toro, and global folk art as major influences. Her work usually combines realistic with magical elements out of her imagination. She often works with watercolor and ink though she also dabbles in gouache, acrylic, and mixed media.
