Mammoth Lakes Arts On The 4th is Mono Arts Council’s yearly kickoff fundraising event. Help Mono Arts Council raise $50,000 for our arts education programs benefiting all Mono County children. Local and visiting artists from around the country showcasing everything from fine art to handmade goods. Only festival in the region featuring primarily local musicians. Festival occurs during the festive 4th of July Holiday weekend. Parade route goes right by the festival, which is located in the heart of Mammoth right at the entrance to the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Walking distance from most in-town lodging and the town trolly stops right at the festival. Delicious food vendors, tasty craft cocktails and local beer. Safety is the highest priority for our artists and guests. We will be in compliance with the current COVID safety protocols at the time of the event.
New This Year
Tony’s Tavern is in Honor of Tony Colasardo who passed away in December of 2019. Tony, along with his wife Andrea, and business partner Corty Lawrence, founded Footloose Sports in 1980. They welcomed the festival to their property with open arms. Tony was always a pleasure to work with for the event. He fully supported the MAC mission and generously donated the use of nearly his entire parking lot for the event year after year.
While they had their hands full running the business during the holiday weekend, Tony and Andrea would always make time to stop by for a beverage and shop from the many talented local artists. We are so grateful to the new owners for following in Tony’s legacy and are proud to honor Tony by naming our Tavern after him.
