Call for Artists

Artists are asked to create new works that speak to the unique experience of being queer in the Eastern Sierra and in the world at large. Artists are invited to showcase their works on coming out, the feeling of community and being queer in the outdoors. 

Artwork submission

Please complete the artist submission form for the theme Be Out by May 18th.

All mediums accepted, including written word. 

Final artwork dropoff

Physical artwork is due between May 20th and June 3rd at Mono Arts Council Gallery & Community Arts Center.


Show Soft Opening June 7th

The Be Out show will open early June and run through the beginning of July.

Donate

Donate to MAC

Friends of the Arts - $150

Friends of the Arts is our donor level for all patron and arts supporters. We need 250 Friends of the Arts for our after school programs, community outreach, and gallery maintenance.

Patrons - $500

Our Patrons donor level helps provide foundational funding for our student Scholarship program and our Summer Art Camp. We need 25 Patrons.

Dreammakers - $2,500 to $5,000

The Dreammakers donor level will help launch our Music Program and provide continued support for our new Digital Arts program. $50,000 annually.

Guardians

Our Guardians provide the core funding for our faculty, staff and facilities providing arts programs to the community throughout the year. Please contact Kristin Reese (kristin@monoarts.org) for more information.
