This month, we are pleased to feature Liam for our Summer Camper Spotlight! Liam attended the Create a Skate Camp taught by Jason Beck. Here's what he had to say:
What did you love about the Create a Skate Program with Jason Beck?
I liked how he guided us to create a skateboard design. He let us do our own art but also provided a lot of assistance for the final drawing.
What was your favorite part?
It was great to see the final skateboards and what everybody created. It's so cool that I now have a skateboard that I designed myself..
If you could learn more art skills, what would you be interested in learning about and why?
I would like to learn how to create off the top of my mind better. I mostly use markers and I would love to learn how to use paints in my art more.
Why do you like the arts?
I like doing art because it is a way to express myself. It also makes me happy when I've put a lot of work into something and I like the way it turns out.
